Gardenia blue // AAFUD colorant
Gardenia blue // AAFUD colorant
Blue is one of the three primary colors, and many compound colorants need to use blue. At present, the natural blue is gardenia blue, spirulina blue, Jagua (genipin-glycine) blue, and Butterfly pea flower extract. In the field of compounding colorants, gardenia blue is the most widely used by virtue of its preferential price and stable nature.
Gardenia blue can be used directly in cakes, ice cream, and can also be combined with other natural colors. Gardenia blue can be combined with natural yellow to get green, and natural red can get purple. Green and purple are widely used in food coloring.
