China Food Additives and Ingredients Association Colorants Professional Committee 2024 industry Annual Meeting was successfully held in Zhuhai!
On October 15-16, the 2024 Industry Annual Meeting of the Colorant Professional Committee of the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association was held in Zhuhai. The China Food Additives and Ingredients Association hosted the conference and was sponsored by AAFUD INDUSTRY(ZHUHAI) CO., LTD. More than 160 people from relevant government departments, industry associations, scientific research institutions, and related personnel from food additives and food ingredients industries attended the conference.
During the conference, many industry experts made wonderful speeches and shared the latest scientific research results and industry trends, providing a rich platform for the participants to exchange professional knowledge. Liu Jie, deputy director of the Standard and Digital Research and Development Department of China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute, explained the "Progress of China's Food additives regulations and standards", from the policy and regulation dynamics, the progress of standards, the revision of GB 2760-2024 and the application of new additives four aspects.
He Anzhen, deputy general manager of AAFUD Industry(Zhuhai) Co., Ltd. shared the "Application trend of natural colors in pet food", which focused on comparing domestic and foreign regulations on the application of natural colors in pet food. Qi Lijun, R&D director of M&G Biotechnology Group Co., LTD., proposed "Tomato Red steady-state preparation Technology and application solutions", sharing the comprehensive utilization of tomato resources, tomato red steady-state preparation technology, and water-soluble tomato red application solutions. Gao Fujun, director of Shanghai Color Research Institute, introduced "Quality Requirements and Supervision of Colorants in Food, medicine, and cosmetics applications". Wang Liang, Partner of BYSEE Compliance, shared the "regulatory requirements and new developments of colorants entering the US market".
During the meeting, the participants had group discussions and exchanges, respectively discussing paprika red, lutein, beta-carotene, lycopene, caramel color, synthetic color, vegetable carbon black, titanium dioxide, etc., red yeast red, red yeast rice, turmeric, purple sweet potato color, radish red, copper chlorophyll, and other aqueous colors. There are also food safety national standards and group standards discussions, we have a full exchange of problems in the industry field.
